Legislative Committee
The Legislative committee is a standing committee specified in the ICIT Bylaws. This committee is responsible for considering pending legislation and resolutions and their impact on Iowa counties, particularly from a technology perspective. They make recommendations regarding items of interest to the ICIT board and the membership.

Membership, Nomination & Awards
A standing committee defined in the ICIT By-Laws, the Membership, Nominating and Awards Committee is responsible for coordinating membership activity, nominating active members for elected positions within the ICIT organization and to recognize individuals that have provided distinguished service to ICIT and/or the advancement of technology in Local Government.
The Membership, Nominating and Awards Committee shall consist of at least one (1) representative from each ICIT District and is chaired by the ICIT Past President.

Education and Schools Committee
The Education and Schools committee is a standing committee specified in the ICIT Bylaws. The duty of the Education and Schools Committee to coordinate training sessions or workshops and work with ISAC on issues concerning education.
The primary educational events under the responsibility of the Education and Schools committee are ICIT activites held during the Spring and Fall ISAC Schools of Instruction. They also assist the Midyear Conference committee with their agenda as needed. Other training needs may be identified by the ICIT Executive Board and coordinating these is also the responsibility of this committee.

Online Services Committee
The On-Line Services Committee is a standing committee specified in the ICIT Bylaws. The purpose of the On-Line Services Committee is to develop and maintain ICIT's on-line services, including this web site and the ICIT mailing lists.

Audit Committee
The Audit Committee is a standing committee specified in the ICIT Bylaws. The duty of the Audit Committee is to audit at least yearly the ICIT financial records with said audit to be completed by January 31st of each year.

GIS Data Repository Committee
The GIS Data Repository Committee is a standing committee specified in the ICIT Bylaws. The duty of the GIS Data Repository committee to manage the day to day operations of the GIS Data Repository.

Information Security Committee
The Information Security Committee is an ad hoc committee authorized by the ICIT Board. The Information Security Committee serves Iowa counties by improving communication, providing security training, and offering support in order to better protect our collective infrastructure and our citizens.
